Within my role on the International Marketing Team, I work directly with the Jameson International Graduate Programme and our brand ambassadors located in over 50 international markets across the world. It’s so great getting to know each year’s intake from screening applications in January right through the two rounds of assessment centres in Feb-April and hiring our new Brand Ambassadors in May /June to managing the 4-week induction training programme before our Brand Ambassadors depart for their markets at the end of July/August each year.
Training, developing and managing the talent is my focus for the brand ambassadors throughout their time on the programme. My career to date has been within the FMCG sector working within the Talent Management function for a leading global retailer with their expansion across Europe and the US.
My passion has always been about identifying a person’s strengths and motivations and developing them within their career. I qualified from college with a BSc in Retail and Services Management and now find myself working within a dynamic and exciting international marketing team, so anything is possible no matter what you study in college. This is why we encourage students from any discipline who have a passion for marketing and sales and want to work in FMCG, to apply for the programme.
